The Redlands Horticultural and Improvement Society's 100th annual flower show with the theme, "Celebrating 100 Years was celebrated on Saturday afternoon for the first day of despite sweltering temperatures, it witnessed huge crowds.

The society was founded in 1889, since then it has held more than 122 flower shows in Redlands the oldest garden club in California, and the country is rich in hundreds and thousands of different types, with so many different flowers and plants.

At the show display there were a variety of entries in flowers species like orchids, roses and a number of special exhibits. President of California Garden Clubs, Julie West, the largest volunteer gardening organization in the world, was one of the flower show judges.

It’s a wonderful show this year as got lots of response with so many people and the Monica Lewis, first-place winner for best in section, was ecstatic about her first victory in her four years entering.

For the fans of orchids there was a beautiful sight of display in the main building, and a large number of a society member and master gardener, with some of the special garden exhibits were from local elementary, middle and high schools participated.
