It is reported from the Manitoba flower gardens the popular species of flower lily is under attack of leaf beetle that is red insect and causing harm to the gardeners of lily with a name of red menace.

The gardeners told about the activities of insect that it can easily consume a pact of flower lily within a day or two and only left were the stems.

There are worries among the gardeners of lilies with the attack of red lily leaf beetle as this can damage their floral business because if they left their garden for some days and come back no lily will left all would be eaten by this insect in some days.

These leaf beetle not stay at one place as they fall swim and move to different places and the behavior of these insects to eat the patches of lilies in a day or two consequently can become a disaster for the growth of lilies and to prevent this attack of red menace in the East Kildonan right down to River Park South in St. Vital in recent years and the problem is particularly bad in in Portage la Prairie is that to keep away these insects is by just squashing them before they can lay their eggs.
