It is reported from a southern Minnesota that a farm in Redwood County took a heavy blow when residents say a tornado struck in that area.

A flower grower, Suzanne Schmiesing, who grows flowers south of Lucan, said that it was frightening because she didn't have sight of her kids when it struck Saturday afternoon.

A local resident, Jeff Otto, who lives nearby, says that he saw a smokestack develop right over the farm, and then he watched that the rooms of the greenhouses blow away.

The National Weather Service received several reports that there are of smokestacks with brief touchdowns in the county.

A flower grower, Suzanne Schmiesing says three greenhouses were missing and another wasseverely damaged and all that caused an estimated damage of at least $20,000 to her property.

Suzanne Schmiesing opened her flower farm again for the season on Saturday and expressed gratitude for the expression of support from all people who showed help to her.
