A successfully flower show in North Korea has reappeared in a new form at an annual flower show that combines floral extravaganza with high praise for the country's founding father Kim Il Sung.
In order to mark and celebrate what would have been Kim's 100th birthday, there were thousands in huge crowd came to central Pyongyang to view extravagant displays of the violet orchid Kimilsungia named in his honor and the red begonia Kimjongilia named for his son and successor, Kim Jong Il.
As we all know that the Kim family's hold over the country has continued with Kim Il Sung's grandson taking over after his father's death in December, the young Kim Jong Un. Before this time no flower has been named after him, in his praise was played at the exhibition.
In flower exhibition, the State Academy of Sciences was involved in the successful exhibit of flowers cultivated by also trumpeted the latest achievements North Korea's government is seeking to promote. The spring is a perfect season of exhibiting the flowers in Korea as people witnessed the largest display is a huge blanket of flowers depicting a unified Korea at one place.
The exhibition hall was prepared and packed on Tuesday within traditional Korean outfit’s wearer by parents toting toddlers clad, mini military uniforms, armed with digital cameras and camcorders.
