A rare species of flower is found in woodland with colonies of flowering plant are present in Dollar Glen. It’s a rare kind of parasitic flower that was found by Scotland ecologists of National Trust while checking the glen conditions.

The species of flowering plant was last seen more than 10 years ago in that area and it was thought to be disappeared from there.

Another rare flower, the Meadow Saxifrage was also found by Ecologists near Linlithgow at House of the Binns. That flowering species Toothwort has no chlorophyll in it parts but survives only by hazel roots.

It was really an exciting finding of the Meadow Saxifrage, which was also a rare flower found at lowland grasslands in the season between the April and June. These both flowering plants are actually widespread in the countryside but have been disappeared from large areas of central Scotland.

In order to preserve and protect the wild flowers, the National Trust for Scotland is working hard and these uncommon beautiful flowers attracts people add beauty to the area so that why institution like National Trust tries to conserve them into the future.
